Payments
Bags by Jane uses Stripe to ensure secure payments.
I can also send Stripe invoices to you on orders taken via Facebook, Telephone or Email if you prefer.
Customised Orders
Full payment is required before a commission can be undertaken.
Postage and Delivery
Postage is payable and will be added to your order at time of purchase.
I use Royal Mail Second Class signed for and will always obtain a proof of postage. Other methods of postage can be used for more urgent deliveries at an additional cost.
Orders will be dispatched within 3-5 working days or longer as agreed for a bespoke order.
Packaging
All items will be packaged in clean and suitable packaging, depending on the item.
Commission Returns
Items that have been made on a commission basis are non-refundable/ non-exchangeable and non-returnable.

I am always keen to get your feedback on items purchased and if it brought some happiness to the recipient.

Sewing with Jane
By booking a place on a workshop with Sewing with Jane, you are accepting the terms and conditions set out below. The cost for attending the workshop will be as stated on the confirmation sent to you. Each workshop will be run by Jane Parker, of Sewing with Jane.

Bookings
Bookings are confirmed once booking confirmation has been emailed to you and payment has been received. The course duration, cost, name, date, time and venue will be included on the booking confirmation.
We will communicate with you using the contact details provided on the Registration Form for the purposes of the Workshop.
Payments, Refunds & Cancellations
Payment for your workshop place is required in full on booking, your booking will be confirmed, and payment requested within 7 days. Workshop places will not be held beyond 7 days after booking. No additional reminders about payment will be sent.
Payment is required via BACS. Payment details will be on the invoice.
You will receive confirmation of receipt of payment (normally within 48 hours), together with workshop joining information by e-mail. Please check your junk/spam folder.
If you can’t attend a workshop or course, you must let us know at least 7 days prior. Any later and you will not be entitled to a refund.
If you attend a workshop or course, and are unable to complete the workshop or course, you will not be entitled to a refund, this includes a partial refund.
If the workshop is over-subscribed (therefore filling your cancelled place), you will have the option of a refund or transferring your booking to another workshop (assuming available places). Refunds will only be processed after the workshop takes place by BACS transfer. You may at any time nominate another individual to attend the workshop in your place.
We reserve the right to cancel a workshop should there be insufficient demand, or as a result of any other extenuating circumstances. In such an event, payment will be refunded in full as soon as is reasonably possible after cancellation or postponement.
Our sole liability in relation to any cancellation, postponement or change of venue shall be limited to the price paid by you for such workshop and we shall not be liable under any circumstances for any consequential losses.
Travel, accommodation and refreshments
You shall be responsible for making and paying for your own travel and accommodation arrangements to and from the Workshop. If you are late at the workshop or prevented from attending the Workshop due to travel delays or any other circumstances, we shall not be obliged to provide you with a refund or to wait to start the Workshop until you arrive.
We supply Tea/Coffee and milk, please bring your own travel mug. You may bring your own soft beverages.
Other
You may need to provide your own equipment and materials; this will be detailed on your booking confirmation.
Unless otherwise stated, the copyright for designs, training content, instructions and photographs belong to Jane Parker of Sewing with Jane. They are for personal use and are not to be shared, copied, reproduced or redistributed in any form without express permission of the copyright holder.
Your obligations
If you act in any way which in our opinion is likely to cause any harm or nuisance to any person at the Workshop, you will be required to leave the Workshop and we shall not be liable to refund your Registration Fee or any other payment.
You must comply at all times with the health and safety policy of the venue. You must comply with all requests from us or the venue with regard to health and safety and failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave the workshop (in which case no refund will be provided).
You shall not cause any damage to any part of the venue (including outside areas, and all inside walls, flooring, fixtures and fittings). You are solely liable for any damage caused to any such area of the venue and shall fully reimburse us in relation to any damage so caused.
You must keep your personal belongings with you at all times and we accept no liability for any damage to, loss of or theft of any of your belongings or other items brought to the Workshop by you.
Limitations of Liability
Whilst every reasonable precaution is taken by us to ensure security and safety at the workshop, we shall not in any way be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you whatsoever in relation to the Workshop, save that nothing in these Terms shall be deemed to limit the liability of any person for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, any fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability for which it is unlawful to exclude or limit liability.
Our total liability for any matter arising out of the Contract shall in all circumstances be limited to the price paid by you for the Workshop and we shall not in any circumstances be liable to you for any consequential loss whatsoever.
